Understand Your Role in Cards

Your role helps Cards show the work and controls appropriate to your responsibilities. Organization membership and Team scope also affect visibility.

Common responsibilities

• Workers act on assigned Cards, communicate progress, record time when required, and surface questions or blockers.
• Managers plan and coordinate work, respond to constraints, and support realistic commitments.
• Clients review authorized deliverables, provide decisions and feedback, and see only the client-facing work shared with them.
• Admins and Workspace Owners manage account structure, access, and workspace settings.
• Finance-authorized users can use commercial and financial views allowed by their permissions.

Contractors and account leads may have responsibilities that overlap these descriptions. A title alone does not grant access.

If a control is missing

First confirm that you are in the intended organization. Then ask a Workspace Owner or Admin to verify your membership, role, and Team scope. Cards Support can help diagnose a product issue but should not bypass your organization's access decisions.
