What Cards Is

Cards is a work-coordination system that connects what was planned, what people committed to, what changed, and what should happen next.

The basic idea

A Project contains connected Cards. Each Card represents a specific action, review, decision, deliverable, meeting, question, or request for help. The connections between Cards make dependencies and handoffs visible.

Cards gives workers a clear next useful action and gives leaders an honest view of commitments, capacity, and constraints. That visibility is meant to support conversation and negotiation—not to score people or guess at their motives.

The core workflow

  • **Plan** describes the intended work and its relationships.
  • **Stack** shows the work that is ready for you now.
  • **Pressure** surfaces constraints that need attention.
  • **Load** shows commitments against available capacity.
  • **Financials** connects authorized commercial information to delivery.

Cards retains the history surrounding work so a team can understand why a result changed, not merely whether a date was met.

What Cards does not do

Cards does not replace human judgment, promise conflict-free work, or determine whether someone is a good employee. People remain responsible for decisions, communication, craft, and leadership.
